Our passion for yoga is the reason we opened this studio. We want to keep our space simple, clean, quiet and true to yogic philosophy. When you come to our studio this is your time to reconnect with your body, mind, and spirit. The word yoga means "to join together" or "yoke". Yoga is a lifestyle and philosophy which is meant to bring a practitioner into a state of vibrant health using physical postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), and internal awareness (meditation). Yoga is ultimately about living in the moment with an "OPEN HEART" and a clear mind. Deborah Belaus CMP, CYT has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years. She is a certified yoga and meditation instructor, as well as, a certified massage practitioner. Deborah earned her certifications from the prestigious Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago, Il. and the International Institute of Massage Science in Philadelphia, PA. Deborah's latest endeavor is teaching yoga to pre-teen / teen girls. She earned her certification from "Next Generation Yoga, NYC." Erin Follweiler RD, LDN, CYT is a certified teacher of yoga, meditation, and Yoga of the Heart (cardiac yoga) as well as an initiate of Yogananada's Kriya Yoga. She incorporates both a Yin style of holding postures and a vinyasa style of integrating movement with breath, blending aspects of the Viniyoga, Iyengar, and Ashtanga traditions. Erin also enjoys her work as a Registered Dietitian, Thai Yoga Practitioner, and Stress Management Specialist for the Dean Ornish Program. Gratitude to this Ancient path of peace and self-discovery inspires Debbie and Erin to share with others. |
